Copyright and Content Removal Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Ultras Avanti respects the intellectual property rights of photographers, video creators, writers, designers, football clubs, supporter groups, media organisations and other content owners.

This Copyright and Content Removal Policy explains how copyrighted material may appear on ultrasavanti.com, how rights holders can request attribution, correction or removal, and how Ultras Avanti reviews such requests.

This policy applies to content published on the Ultras Avanti website. Requests concerning content published on our social media channels should also be sent to the contact address provided below.

Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, the original articles, written features, page designs, graphics and other material created directly by Ultras Avanti are owned by Ultras Avanti or used under an appropriate licence.

This material may not be copied, republished, reproduced, translated, distributed, sold or used commercially without prior written permission.

Club names, competition names, supporter-group names, badges, trademarks, photographs, videos and other material belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

The appearance of third-party material on Ultras Avanti does not mean that we claim ownership of it.

Purpose of Published Content

Ultras Avanti is an independent football supporters’ media platform covering ultras news, supporter movements, stadium atmospheres, tifos, away days, match reports and football terrace culture.

Photographs, videos, quotations, statements and other third-party material may be published for journalistic, informational, historical, critical or documentary purposes.

Where possible, Ultras Avanti aims to use material with permission, provide appropriate attribution and identify the original creator or source.

However, content shared online may sometimes be reposted several times, published without complete attribution or submitted to us with incorrect ownership information. If this happens, we encourage the legitimate rights holder to contact us so that the matter can be resolved.

Photographs and Videos

Photographs and videos published on Ultras Avanti may come from our own archive, photographers, contributors, supporters, social media platforms, news sources or individuals who have submitted material for publication.

Anyone submitting photographs, videos or other material to Ultras Avanti should confirm that they created the material or have the necessary permission to share it.

Submitting material does not automatically transfer ownership to Ultras Avanti. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the original creator retains the rights they hold in the submitted material.

By submitting content for publication, the sender confirms that Ultras Avanti may review, edit, resize, crop and publish the material on its website or official social media channels for the agreed or reasonably understood purpose.

Attribution Requests

If you are the creator or authorised rights holder of material published by Ultras Avanti and believe that the attribution is missing or incorrect, contact us at:

info@ultrasavanti.shop

Please include the link to the relevant article or social media post, a clear description of the material, your name or professional credit, and information that reasonably demonstrates your connection to the work.

When a request is valid, we may add, correct or update the attribution as soon as reasonably possible.

Licensing Enquiries

Rights holders who wish to discuss the licensed use of their photographs, videos, designs or other material may contact us by email.

Please include the relevant link, details of the material and any proposed licensing conditions.

No licensing agreement is valid unless it has been confirmed in writing by both parties.

Content Removal Requests

If you believe that material published on Ultras Avanti infringes your copyright or has been used without appropriate permission, you may submit a content-removal request.

Send the request to:

info@ultrasavanti.shop

Your message should identify the copyrighted work, provide the exact URL where the material appears, describe the material you want reviewed and explain why you believe you are entitled to request its removal.

Please also provide your full name, a valid contact address and information that reasonably demonstrates that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Requests containing incomplete, misleading or unverifiable information may take longer to process.

Review of Removal Requests

Ultras Avanti will review complete removal requests in good faith.

During the review, we may temporarily restrict access to the disputed material, request additional information, correct the attribution, replace the material or remove it from the website.

The appropriate response will depend on the available information, the nature of the material and the circumstances in which it was published.

Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee removal. Ultras Avanti may decline requests that do not establish a credible connection to the material, contain insufficient information or appear fraudulent, abusive or misleading.

Where ownership or permission is genuinely disputed, we may ask the parties involved to provide additional documentation or seek independent legal advice.

Submitted and User-Provided Content

Ultras Avanti may receive photographs, videos, statements, reports and other material from contributors, readers and social media users.

A person who submits material confirms that the submission is lawful and that they have the necessary rights or permission to share it.

The sender is responsible for the accuracy of ownership, authorship and permission information provided with the submission.

Ultras Avanti reserves the right to reject, edit or remove submitted content at any time, particularly where ownership is uncertain or a credible complaint has been received.

Social Media Content

Material published on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or another social media platform may sometimes be embedded, linked to or referenced in Ultras Avanti articles.

The original post remains subject to the terms and policies of the platform on which it was published.

Embedding or linking to publicly available material does not mean that Ultras Avanti owns that material.

Rights holders may still contact us if they have concerns about how their work appears in an article or on an Ultras Avanti social media channel.

Logos, Badges and Trademarks

Football club names, supporter-group names, competition names, logos, badges and trademarks displayed or mentioned on Ultras Avanti belong to their respective owners.

They are used only where relevant to identify, report on or describe the subject of an article.

Ultras Avanti is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by any football club, football federation, competition, governing body or supporter group unless a specific relationship is clearly stated.

Quotations and Statements

Ultras Avanti may reproduce limited quotations from public statements, interviews, supporter announcements, club communications or other published material where relevant to reporting and commentary.

Quotations should be attributed to the original speaker or publisher where that information is available.

The views expressed in quoted statements belong to their respective authors and do not necessarily represent the position of Ultras Avanti.

False or Abusive Claims

Copyright and removal requests must be submitted honestly and in good faith.

Please do not submit a request concerning material you do not own or represent. Do not provide false information, altered documentation or misleading claims of ownership.

Ultras Avanti reserves the right to reject requests that appear fraudulent, threatening, abusive or intended to suppress legitimate reporting rather than protect genuine rights.

Restoration or Reconsideration

If content is removed following a complaint, the person who originally submitted the material may provide information showing that they created it, obtained permission or otherwise had the right to share it.

Ultras Avanti may reconsider the decision after reviewing the available information. Content will not necessarily be restored where ownership remains unclear or where publication creates an unreasonable legal or editorial risk.

This internal review process does not replace any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Google AdSense and Copyright Compliance

Ultras Avanti aims to ensure that pages displaying advertising comply with Google Publisher Policies and applicable intellectual property requirements.

Material may be removed, replaced or excluded from monetisation where credible copyright concerns exist.

A disclaimer or attribution alone does not create permission to use copyrighted material. Whenever appropriate, Ultras Avanti will seek permission, use licensed material or remove content after receiving a valid complaint. Google’s publisher rules prohibit content that infringes copyright. (Google Help)

Changes to This Policy

Ultras Avanti may update this Copyright and Content Removal Policy when our publishing practices, services or legal obligations change.

The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
