Ultras Avanti is an independent football supporters’ media platform dedicated to ultras culture, organised fan movements and stadium life around the world.
Founded in 2014, the platform was created from a passion for the side of football that exists beyond results, transfers and league tables. Our focus is on the people in the stands, the identity of the terraces and the traditions that give every stadium its own character.
Every terrace has its own history, symbols, songs and unwritten rules. Ultras Avanti documents these differences while exploring the shared values that connect football supporters across countries and generations.
What We Cover
Our coverage focuses on ultras groups, organised supporters, stadium atmospheres, choreographies, banners, flags, pyrotechnic displays, away days, friendships, rivalries, protests and the wider culture surrounding football support.
We publish detailed histories of supporter groups, match reports, photo reports, terrace news, historical features and videos from football grounds across the world. Particular attention is given to the development of supporter scenes, their organisation, their relationships with clubs and authorities, and their importance within local communities.
From Europe’s largest stadiums to smaller grounds and lesser-known supporter scenes, our aim is to document football culture wherever it exists. Some of the strongest supporter identities can be found far away from modern football’s biggest competitions.
Our Editorial Approach
Ultras Avanti aims to present supporter culture accurately, respectfully and without unnecessary sensationalism. We believe organised supporters should be treated as an important part of football’s social and cultural history, rather than simply as background decoration or a source of controversy.
Our articles are researched and edited with a focus on accuracy, context and clear presentation. When events are disputed or information cannot be independently confirmed, we avoid presenting assumptions as established facts.
Reports involving disorder, arrests, political messages or conflicts are published for informational and documentary purposes. Ultras Avanti does not encourage violence, discrimination, hatred or illegal activity.
More Than Matchday
