On 15 July 2026, Rapid Wien welcomed Panathinaikos to the Weststadion for a special friendly celebrating 25 years of friendship between Ultras Rapid and Gate 13. Supporters from Vienna and Athens stood together, sang side by side and presented a joint display honouring a brotherhood that began in 2001.
It was the first meeting between the two clubs since the friendship was established. Rapid won the 120-minute match 4–1, but the evening was defined by green-and-white colours, flags and the united support from both fan scenes. Twenty-five years later, the friendship between Ultras Rapid and Gate 13 remains as strong as ever.
