Both clubs received passionate support from the stands. Borac’s Lešinari produced an impressive red-and-blue choreography and maintained a powerful atmosphere throughout the match, while a large and vocal group of Levski supporters travelled to Banja Luka and made their presence felt.
Tensions escalated after the final whistle. Visiting supporters reportedly attempted to provoke a confrontation with the home crowd, while a fight also broke out inside the section occupied by Lešinari. Police quickly intervened, separated the groups and prevented a larger incident.
With the score level at 1-1, the tie remains completely open. The decisive second leg will be played on 14 July at a sold-out Georgi Asparuhov Stadium in Sofia, where another intense night in the stands is guaranteed.
