Generation Luzifer – Kaiserslautern

Our group – Generation Lucifer – was founded in 1998 by six individuals. Our aim is to enrich the terrace and fan scene both visually and in terms of the style and manner of encouragement and presence, to strengthen cohesion within the scene, and to revive the unique West Curve to its former glory days. The unconditional dedication to FCK is what unites us all.

Since our inception, through years of pioneering work, relentless determination, and the passionate commitment of several generations, numerous goals set back then have been achieved, and the spirit of 1998 has been passed on. Despite setbacks as a group and bitter moments, we take pride in what we have accomplished. However, it also obliges us in equal measure. Over more than a decade, we have dedicated countless choreographies to our club and our terrace, accompanied and supported our club everywhere, and have not hesitated to build critical pressure in club political processes during difficult times. Structures and hierarchies in the curve have been advanced, and internally, a microcosm has been created free from societal constraints. As the oldest group in Kaiserslautern, which set out to establish the Ultra culture lived in Southeast Europe since the 1970s in Kaiserslautern, we have decisively shaped entire generations of fans and will continue to do so in the future.

What was founded by six people in 1998 – without knowing where the journey would lead – has today shaped the life path of people from various generations who have dedicated themselves to the club, the group, and the terrace.

Since 2006, the home of the group has been Block 8.2 in the heart of our terrace at the Fritz-Walter Stadium. While we have seen numerous improvements in this area since 2006, we were still far from our ideal vision of a large, loud, fanatical block. Even the gradual formation of a mood center through the relocation of Pfalz Inferno and Frenetic Youth to Blocks 9.2 and 7.2 did not bring the desired success, so together with the other groups in the summer break of 2014, we decided to make a new attempt in the central, old part of the West Curve. Here, with the help of all those interested in a united and vocal curve, something will now grow together in the long term that does justice to the history of the West Curve in Kaiserslautern.

The open system has propelled us forward for well over a decade and has enabled us to achieve many things, for which we are grateful to all the people who have supported us along the way. However, in recent months, a different attitude has solidified within the active part of the group, prompting us to make changes. We no longer want to have just any names among our ranks or people whom we barely know and who see Ultra merely as a kind of hobby that lasts only 90 minutes a week. We see Generation Lucifer as a strong, tight-knit bunch that identifies with 1. FC Kaiserslautern and its city.

We have grown up together, spent many thousands of hours together, laughed and celebrated, but also had to cope with some defeats. However, what’s important is that we have always stood together in good times and bad, and have been there for each other outside the pitch, in our personal lives. This applies to a new member just as much as to the old veteran who has been going to football with Generation Lucifer for almost two decades. Friendships shape the group and support us in football, but also in everyday life. We continue to demand this attitude from everyone in our group, in order to collectively advance our club and our terrace and to achieve something great, which is only possible when everyone pulls together.

If you want to be a part of this, are enthusiastic about Ultras, want to get involved, and want to work with us to advance the FCK fan scene and the West Curve, you can always reach out to us. This can only be done through personal contact because a face can accomplish more than a name in an email address. Just approach our members in the stadium, come to the information stand in front of the West Curve, or join us in the stadium. The more you contribute and engage, the easier your path to us will be.

We place great importance on integrating our new people and will help you find your way and instill in you our values, our ideals, and the pride of wearing the FCK emblem and the GL devil in your heart.
